Mamas, I get it.
I have five children ranging in age from 17 to 2. It seems like life goes 1,000 miles per minute and there is never enough time to get it all done - let alone plan a portrait session with just you and your child. But what I have come to learn is that there is such beauty in documenting the love you have for your children!
On this day in Raleigh, North Carolina it was so hot and humid. I have been so sad that Gabriella, my last baby, is growing up so fast so I bribed my 13 year old to snap a few pics of us. They are blurry and not technically perfect, but I LOVE these images just the same. I think you’ll agree being a mom doesn’t mean always being perfect. I believe it means doing your best with a heart full of love. Anyway, the session (in our back yard) lasted less than 10 minutes before we were all drenched in sweat. But, I know once this stage of Gabriella’s life is over, it won’t return. I am thankful for these photos and I will cherish these moments with my sweet baby girl forever.
I encourage you, mama, to do the same.
